SSX Tricky! Wow...that's cheap!
I'd also recommend anyone to pickup NBA Street if they don't already have it. GREAT app.

I actually got there right as they were opening, and the video game guys hadn't even heard of the sale yet. They said the prices aren't effective until they actually change the tags, which might not happen until tomorrow. I paid $9.99 for all of those (except Rocky which was 99 cents)... but if I go in tomorrow once they change the tags I can get refunded the difference.
oh and ssx tricky rocks.

they didn't have the real reduced prices up on anything but rocky where I went either... but I asked the guy in the game dept about it and he showed me the price sheet of what they would be changing to when they get around to putting the new price tags up. So I paid more now and will get refunded the difference tomorrow...
i'm pissed they didn't have 99 cent pinball.

Can't wait for 4 to release on the PS3!

MGS4 will be the shit; one of the main reasons to buy one (though I doubt it will be a launch title).
People....pick up Twin Snakes enjoy Hideo Kojima's table scraps for $4.99 .

I have to share...it was so bad it was funny...(and its Friday afternoon and I had a couple beers at lunch so I'm just killing time until I can leave work )
First, I'm pretty sure the narrator guy in the game is Jeff Foxworthy. That alone is bad enough.
You drive around on this 4 wheeler to go hunting. The controls just for this thing are awful...it starts off really slow, then shoots up really fast, and the steering is completely erratic. It slides on the dirt like you are driving on a sheet of ice. When you crash the screen flashes and you are just standing up again, and Jeff Foxworthy says 'who taught you how to drive'. The same thing, every time. Plus, it actually scrolls the text of 'who taught you how to drive' across the screen. I'm guessing they added the voiceover after the text, since the typical player of this game probably can't read. If you crash into a lake or stream, you pop up on one side of the stream and your 4 wheeler on the other (if you walk into the stream, you just stroll along underwater until you die - Jeff Foxworthy informs you of this when the screen goes dark).
So I crashed my vehicle into a river, and couldn't get to the other side, so I took off on foot. Your guy gets tired after about 20 steps so you have to stop for him to rest (and presumably jam another tin of skoal in his mouth).
You get to carry I think 5 or 6 items on you when you go out, and each item counts the same no matter what size it is. A rack of antlers takes up the same amount of room as a scope. Now a ps2 controller has what, a dozen buttons? Only 3 of them do anything. To use one of your items you press the 'item' button, which pauses the game, then you can scroll through your stuff. Its listed left to right, and you can only move the selection to the right...so to get item #5 you press: Item button - right right right right. Your binocular thing is the 5th item, and you can't see shit without it, so every time you want to switch from gun to binocular to map...its a whole process. Odd that they couldn't just assign an item to a button...
When you use the scope, every single time, it pops up a message "USE THE LEFT ANALOG STICK TO CONTROL THE SCOPE - PRESS LEFT/RIGHT TO MOVE TO THE SIDES, UP/DOWN TO LOOK UP AND DOWN". Right in the middle of the view through the scope, for about 5 seconds.
So I went wandering around looking for deer through some poorly animated forests, fumbling through the controls, almost got eaten by a wolf but got a lucky shot and killed it (it disappeared immediately after I shot it)... and finally found a deer in a stream. I shot it. This part was actually kind of cool, the camera follows the bullet and you see it smack the deer in the neck. So I ran over to my kill, hit x to claim it, and got $200. I guess I can use that to buy more bullets later.
Thats it, thats all you do. You can go to different forests and hunt different species of deer, but I doubt I'll ever put this game back into my playstation.
