apparently hitting the control tower on the carriers causes the ship to catch fire and hitting the elevators on the flight deck is what causes the "flight deck damage"...

with two airfields then it would be pretty easy to take out a carrier in one wave.

3 squads of torpedos to flood the hull and cause the bulk of the damage (probably 60-70%)...

1 wave of fighters to keep their planes at bay and out of the air...

1 squad of dive bombers to hit their control tower and start a fire...

1 squad of dive bombers to hit the elevators and take out the flight deck...

If you did this the carrier could not manage the repairs fast enough to keep the damage bar from going down.

You could even make it worse by using one of the torpedo bombers to hit the rear of the ship, causing "manuevar" damage.

With 4 things to repair, including massive flooding, I don't think you could save a carrier.

Are you guys playing the demo or full version? Also, do you know if the PC version will have the same connected multiplayer as XBOX?

Nope. I don't know if there are any games where someone on a console can play someone on a PC

There will be in the future after Vista is released. A few upcoming PC/360 games will be cross platform compatible as Xbox Live is coming to Vista, but it will only be new Vista games like Halo2, Shadowrun, etc.. I doubt this game will have that feature.

apparently the full guide has diagrams of the ships sweet spots.

some said it's possible to take out a Battleship with only two dive bombers, 2 hits on the magazine.

hard to believe.

and speaking of sinking battleships, silver.. you'll never believe it but i nearly won that game you dropped out of last night.

despite being on the verge of sinking when you left, my carrier survived for another 20 minutes at least. i managed to destroy the remainder of their navy (battleships) and it came down to an air battle between me and the last guy standing.

eventually he manage to sneak a single dive bomber past and take out my carriers control tower, that put me down. but it was way closer then it looked like it would be when your carrier sunk!

Half your carrier was under water when I left.

If I didn't have to spend 5 minutes dealing with the pizza dude we would have won that shit. While I was down stairs they lauched their whole fleet at my naval yards

Does the Xbox 360 have Wireless built in, I can't remember since I haven't used mine in about a year? I would have to move it into the bedroom to use it.
