greedy is when you have something and want more...like instead of buyin one ps3...you buy the whole store out...thats greedy

being smart is buying one...and selling it for a outragious price cuz everyone else is doing it.....but dont jump over that bridge...thats just not cool...lol

i mean in reality...how many people do you think bought PS3's to keep....we should do a poll...i watched the news and they newscaster was having a hard time finding someone said they were buying it for themselves....

Yes, the "premium" PS3 is $599. The "standard" PS3 is $499.


It's a little better then a PS2 with mods. It's a whole new system. And prices will likely not drop for at least 1-2 years. Look at the 360, been out for a year, price hasn't moved, and probably won't until next holiday season. Plus, Sony wouldn't even think about a price drop until they are making money off of the software (since they do not make money on the system), so it will take some time. Even then, I don't think you'll ever see it hit $300. Well, maybe a few years down the road when the PS4 is launched... maybe...

 

 

CANT WAIT.....i wonder what PS4 is going to do and cost....2 million mabye....flip houses for game stations....

But with the average age of gamers rising, these systems are being built for people with disposable incomes and not marketed towards kids anymore (except for the Wii who is trying to reach all)... so I wouldn't be surprised if the next, next-gen systems were just as expensive.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if the next generation of consoles start at the higher end PS3 price and then go 100 bucks up from that.

 

hey, as long as you're not posting stupid threads about how many systems you got along with :ghey: ass pics of yourself posing next to em, I am OK with it! I don't see how its different than say, buying a car or house for the sole purpose of flipping it.

 

I wouldn't be out of luck at all. Worst case scenario I could return them, or just sell them for the regular value.

okay smart-ass... let me reword myself... when I said "PS3's" I meant "PS3s"... as in multiple consoles? Yeah, sure you'd save one for yourself but the other 2, you'd sell and make some $$$ wouldn't you?
