I agree I should have, I was in the box hallway and heard it going on.
But it was getting really boring for them waiting in the hostage room, so I didn't think much of it besides wasting ammo. I had no way of knowing it would escalate and most of my attention was focused on seeing if anyone was coming around the corner...
