Just letting people know, it's been confirmed that the demo shown is running on PC. The game is set to release on PC and consoles. They haven't announced which consoles yet though.

saw this preview a while ago and love the looks of it.

GTA, Hitman, and some geek technology bundled into one game. Looks sweet. Finally some fresh gaming concepts pertinent to today.

gameplay looks amazing. the story line and side missions (choosing to help people or not) makes for a very long and immersive game. i can easily see this game lasting hours. awesome hours at that. for anyone who lives in chicago, i'd try to find your house or workplace. my manager found his apartment building in the GTA with liberty city? the one where it was modeled after NYC. pretty funny.

I'll wait a week or 2 before buying because it is a Ubisoft game, which means that it will drop in price by a guaranteed $20 by then. Save money

It's not the first game to do seamless hop in-out multiplayer and won't be the last. It's great when it works and terrible when it doesn't.

I was more curious about the limitations of it. For example, will I be able to turn it off and just play offline? Or is it going to be like Diablo 3 where its always online.

Yes you will be able to turn it off and play offline without interruption if you wish.
You could turn it off in Diablo 3 too.
