I remember when they would release new maps to Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six and die hard fans would get all excited, keeping the interest there, leading the fans right into the next squeal... it's simply smart marketing... but whatever.

The only reason why I don't think they would release new maps is because players might then become hesitant about purchasing COD:MW2....
I don't expect MW2 to be much different...new maps, weapons, and I'm hoping for a more rigid clan system similar to KZ:2 with online rankings.
They don't need to change much...if it aint broke, don't fix it...
