Didn't see a thread for this game. Anyone played it yet? I picked it up, got to Chapter 5, then had a hankering to go back and play the first two (first was okay, second was still awesome )

Two things I don't like about the game (so far): Some of the dialogue is a little odd, especially compared to the first two MP games. and second is maybe I just suck at the game, but it's really hard to get a good shot. And sometimes the guys don't want to go down when you pump like 10 bullets in their chest.

Nevertheless, a very cool game so far. I've been looking forward to this one for a looooooong time and so far it is worth it

 

ive played it on PC...somethings quirky about the aiming mechanics. Could be the after-effect of being a console port.

But then again fallout 3 had some weird aiming too. Never liked it. Game was otherwise good though.

 

Yeah I definitely had to keep the auto-aim help on throughout this game. It's way too hard for me to do the free-aim like in the first 2 Max Payne games. It was much easier to see the guys shooting you in the first two. I guess that's what comes with better graphics. Bad guys seem to blend a little too well with the environment. I remember it being exactly like that with Killzone 2.

Another thing. Almost every time you pick up some painkillers, Max says something stupid. "hur durrrr, they're definitely not gonna need them cuz they DED LOL!"

 

Wow, just finished the game. It was pretty gruesome/awesome when you took out that guy with the grenade launcher at the airport.... I won't give anything away.

Also, the credits are like 5,000 people long. wtf.
