Loved the first Dead Space to death. That game was just so creepy and it captured the atmosphere so well. It kind of rivaled the first Silent Hill IMO.

luckily I got a Gamestop gift card for Christmas, so I'll definitely pick this up if it turns out good If it captures the same feeling the first one had without dumbing it down in favor of a more action-packed approach, then I'll pick it up.

 

Played the demo. Demo was pretty meh, tbh :\ It was pretty cool, but it really didn't really show much. I'll have to wait to hear a few reviews.

I thought the setting shift was pretty lol, though. Like one minute you're in an anti-gravity chamber that's similar to something you'd see in the first Dead Space, then 3 minutes later you're in... a monastery? wtf? It's like one minute you're playing Dead Space, then the next you're playing Resident Evil 4.

 

Has been getting 9/10 across the board from various review sources.

Yeah a few say the multiplayer seems real stale. IMO this game shouldn't have had a multiplayer mode to begin with.
