Thats my favorite place to snipe because I have a spot where I can own a whole team and they never figure out where I am till I have like 10 kills.

Sniping is best on hardcore when you can set up shop in view of one of the flags, and just take people out when they try to capture it or spawn from it.

And free for all is full of noobs, I always get top 3 at least playing it

Nice... I was playing Team Deathmatch on Countdown. I had sneaked over to the other team's side (the side where the hangars are far apart) and my Barrett only had a few shots left. I switched out to my Deagle and killed the other team as they wandered into the hangar. I peeked through the side and killed one, went around through the front and shot the ones hiding in the grass, back and forth. I killed 4 or 5 of them before one guy shot me, then I killed him while on my last stand. Another guy walked by, didn't see me and I killed him too. I finally died because no one came back to that hangar looking for me again.

I think for some reason, when I went to my last stand, I automatically got 2 fresh clips for my Deagle. Is this normal, or was it a bug?

I believe it is normal. Kind of like when you drop your pistol for another primary weapon then get shot they give you a standard 1911 full pistol even though technically you didn't have one.

One of the times I was sniping I would kill people at close range with the pistol. Killed 6 or 7 guys with the deagle, ran out, got killed. I had never run out of ammo for a pistol before I was pissed.

They really need to impliment replay and theatre like Halo 3 has. I have had some fucking awesome games I would love to save.

A clan structure, one with leaders, different positions in the clan maybe, where you have to be invited into it, and a way for clans to challenge each other and have clanwars much like Halo and Socom.

Half the fun of Socom 2 was playing other clans (and kicking their asses, hooyah)

I have to admit I haven't been playing much due to a death in the family (haven't been home), so the other night I played for the first time that map with all the shipping containers... All I can say is... what a lame map... it's like the size of a basketball court... I didn't like it at all...

maybe if it was 2 on 2, maybe 3 on 3, but the one time I played it... there just too many players... A couple times I, randomly, threw grenades over the containers and got 3 kills

I like to camp out in one of the hollow crates in shipment, oftentimes that's where the enemy will spawn and I cap them as soon as they come out..

You just gotta learn how to take advantage of how crowded it is. Kill streaks are your best friend. Once you get that airstrike, you'll probably nail at least 3 with that, then the heli will get you at least 3 or so more.

I love that map mostly because I always go around 80-30 on it lol and it brings up my kill/death ratio by a lot

what game modes do you guys play that you can get so many kills? even when i dominate in sabotage 50-60 kills .i dont see how one could possibly get over 80 kills....theres just not that many people to kill?

The game mode cant be TD or ground war b/c of the score cap? so how do you guys manage so many kills?

I consider myself a fairly good player, with around 18.5k kills with a 2.5 KD ratio

i often see people with kill streaks of 120+ on the rank list...i just dont get it?

play headquaters in shipment, earlier i stated a i pulled 13x for 34 deahts and a 141 for 45.....the games goes the whole 15 minutes and most people go for the base. all u have to do is basicallyfind ur slef a spot in the map away from the base but near it and make sure u have cover. mow down anyone that comes by. 5 kills, air strike, then helo. if u die call in the helo or strike that u had and book u'll get another kill streak allowing for more air strikes and helo's. basically how i did it.

gun i was using was M4, bandoleer, stopping power deeper impact.

I had about 900 more deaths then kills then I started playing Team Hardcore. Since there is more damage and 1 well placed bullet can kill a man, PLUS claymores actually work very well I tend to dominate. Usually 20 kills to 5 or 6 deaths. Now I am 1 and 1 in kills and deaths. So thats a 900 kill catch up.

As long as you use Uav Jammer you will be fine. Some people dont use it because there is no map on hardcore but as soon as they throw up a UAV you will be wishing you had one on.

ya i understand, its just with sabotage theres the respawn limit so it inhibits the kills at times. Granted, i dont have trouble getting kills, i generally always end with a 3-1 KD per game. When i have a great game ill go around 50-60 with deaths under 10, but i just cant see myself getting another 50+ kills even with the full 20 minutes.

It's funny, at first I didn't ccare about KD...all I wanted to do was get the most points I could...so I would sacrifice myself like crazy.


I've gone from .87 to .97 in almost a week (and that's a lot of work considering I've got a LOT of time under my belt before I started careing)

Anyone unlock gold guns yet? Some of those guns are fucking impossible to use and headshots are a fucking bitch. I might have to sacrifice my kill:death ratio and go for it.

Heh... that's the best KD ratio I've seen out of my friends, though I think one of them had 2.55 but I don't play with him much. I think it was Psycho II, that racist dude.

My KD ratio is high because I always set claymores and use a silencer... plus Last Stand which is so friggin hilarious
