I'm not sure if this is a repost but have any of you guys played this game yet? IMHO, the best fighting game i've played in YEARS next to Tekken 2.

 

Maining Kabal and Smoke. I'm liking Jade too. This game is straight up awesome.

Got a couple hours of training mode down, got a few 30% combos for Kabal .. 5 minutes with Smoke and I'm already landing various 30% combos lol. I shudder to think what Noob and Ermac can do. Shit scares me.

 

just got the game yesterday but havent tried the story mode...reminds me of the good ol days! cant wait to play it again whenever the time permits.

 

Got this game and love it, already beat story mode and the challenge tower.

 

ive beaten the story mode challenge tower, and played through on expert a few times. i got it the day it came out... put it to rest for a few weeks, but started playing again. just downloaded the DLC that has the classic ninja fatalities and costumes. i love this game. ive been a MK junkie since i was like 6 playing in the arcade, and this game is a throwback to everything that made me fall in love with the game.

Liked Mortal Kombat vs DC universe and like the current game a lot. The final battle can be a pita but you can do it

These Dues are Sick... I like the Fact you can actually get some good ass combos in this game... NICE

 

I snagged this when it first came out and was all about it for a week or two. Fell off of my interest list really quick though. Maybe it's because I'm older but fighting games don't hold my attention like they used to. I think I just got it for nostalgia LOL

 

I kinda feel you on this....Tekken 6 lasted me a month before it became a dust collector, super street fighter 4 lasted a lil longer.(still break it out once in a blue moon) but I find myself coming back to mortal kombat. I'll take a week or 2 off but at some point I always come back...this is why I recommend the game.

 

Freddy Kreuger is coming to MK9 BUT I honestly don't know how I feel about that one though....def gonna buy him though. lol Looks like he'll be good from the trailors. Just can't picture freddy with MK character's but I guess I'll adapt like kratos

 

OMFG, its stupid hard to beat Shao Khan the 2nd time in the story.

i did. i would try to teleport sometimes and it would work. he would combo me from there or use his stupid xray.

 

you gotta fight him defensively....wait til he gloats or throws this shit, then attack....if you go at him your gonna get SLAUGHTERED. The teleport works if timed right but don't only rely on that. throw electric and that dive plank attack here and there but wait for the GUARENTEED hit. Kicked my ass for hours before I got it right lol

 

yea i finally beat him, but it was pissing me off, 52% damage with just the x-ray .wtf.

 

tell me about it.... and thats not even the worst. Jonny Cage and a few others have a combo's that do anywhere from 65-81% damage.

 

im sending it back to gamefly tomorrow and hoping to get infamous 2
