360, PS3: Grand Theft Auto IV **Tops $500 Million in first week (page 14)**
You will sometimes see a blue person icon on your radar. They pop up randomly.
For the girl you kidnapped, you would have to be in the vicinity of her house.
I don't think there is any way to initiate it, it is just random...

Anyone else think the motorcycles flat out suck in GTA4?
Everytime you try and turn in any of them you either skid or can't make sharp turns even at normal cruising speeds. You gotta slow down to a crawl to make sharp turns and they certainly don't accelerate as fast as I think they should for a motorcycle.
Also some of the cars rev up way to quickly and for far too long before they engage.

I've never ridden a motorcycle, but I don't think you can make turns that are that sharp at speed.

I watch out for those green figures all the time, all of those missions are such bs.
And do they really expect me to complete the 100% by looking for some fukin pigeons?

In the legend on the right, open up "NPCs", then click on "Person (Contact)".
She is the bottom right contact on the far left island.

Wtf? Right after the mission where you take the picture of the woman you kidnapped, I walked out to the fence (on the embankment) on the opposite side of the alley to start shooting cars on the freeway. I noticed that no one would ever call the cops on me, so I eventually moved down to street level to start shooting. Now it's impossible for me to get any stars
. I can call the cops and they'll come, I point the gun at them and they'll try to kill me, but if I shoot them no stars. So weird.
Oh and if you're riding a motorcycle, you can make much sharper turns and drag your knee if you aren't on the throttle.

The first DLC is coming on the 17th
In the previews, it looks like there's a new semi-auto shotgun with a collapsible stock, a double barreled shortgun, a Spas12 with a drum mag, and some weird 1911/FiveSeven mashup with a extended barrel maybe for a suppressor.

Meh...
Only available for the 360...
I will have to strongly consider buying any future games from Rockstar...
I was considering buying Midnight Club LA, but definately won't if they are going to do this kind of shit...
