360 going in for repair
360 going in for repair
Well add me to the list of the many gamers who have had to have their XBOX 360 sent in for repair. This is the first time I ever had an issue with a console for the 20+ years I have been playing.
Sometimes when I turn on the XBOX the screen is completely blank, I know the XBOX is on because I can hear the game playing through my receiver and TV speakers. It started happening last weekend, and after a while it finally came back on, it happened again later that day and again last night. I called the XBOX people and they told me that it will have to come in for repairs, but didn't tell me what they thought the issue may be. It was clearly a lady from India, but she was fairly easy to understand, which is a first for me. 3 - 5 days to get the box to ship the XBOX in, and another 10 days after they get it for them to repair it. It finally came back on last night, but there is no doubt an issue with the 360. No red lights on the console BTW. The one thing that bothers me is that they use UPS for their shipping, that makes me real nervous. UPS sucks!!
Once I get the shipping box, I will be out of an XBOX for about a month I suspect, I don't have any games to play for the GameCube as I beat Zelda:TP a couple of weeks ago, and I haven't played my regular XBOX in ages. Looks like I have to whip out some of my old PC games like Starcraft and Warcraft III when I feel the need to play something.

Well I had that same issue but it wasnt my XBOX it was the way it was hooked up through my system. Make sure thats not the problem before you ship it. Try hooking it up directly into the TV the basic way and see if it works.
