What drives me nuts is this:



Those are "better" results then what I usually get with Comcast and yet its still lagging out.

 

That's really weird, that's more than enough for Xbox Live to work properly.

Might want to check your NAT settings, if it's on "strict", you're fucked.

 

Yea I know, thats what my speeds usually are and XBL works fine. Earlier in the night though, my ping was in the 200ms range and my speeds dropped to ~1.5mbps/up and .4 down (that was right after I got off Live). About an hour after I got off Live my speeds went back to "normal" (even though Im paying for three times those speeds).

I tested XBL and it could connect but was showing a network issue (slow speeds). My NAT settings are fine.

Only three more days with Commiecast, at which point I plan on overhauling my network and updating firmware on the routers. I may reserve IPs specifically for my devices too, but Im not sure yet.

 

Definitely do static IP addresses, it will prevent you from ever running into the strict NAT issue.

That sucks that Comcast is treating you like that, I have it at home and this is the norm for me...

 

Yea, we've had techs at the house test it, get the same results, and then say its working normally.

Seeing the FR-S in red made me change up the colors a bit:









The design was a paint in the ass. Its got a "carbon fiber" hood, roof, trunk, rear diffuser, and the lower edge of the lip kit. I wish there was a paint option specifically for CF, instead of using a vinyl.
