I've kept mine as a R3 so I'm not sure. I'm sure it can go up to R2 but I doubt it's possible to get it as a R1. Then again I've never tried.

I haven't played at all this week. Damn school

WOOT! Got the game! I like it. Driving a scirocco right now. Love how that car looks

One gripe, opponents on medium is to easy, and opponents are hard are to hard lol. Two short laps is not enough to pass 1st place on hard! Especially when I do not know these tracks. And the braking lines they give suck, I only follow them on the sharp curves, and still I'm never braking through the curve like it has you do.

But soo excited! My fiat abarth is fun to drive. That thing is soo tail happy, but I do have some upgrades, but still it power slides a lot! (Tire pressure helped a little)

Damn jjashaa those cars look awesome! How many hours did you put into them? I'm terrible at doing graphics like that.

speedemon90 congrats on the purchase! I love the Scirocco as well. Well I guess I should say I "liked" it because I sold it last week.

I've taken a few pics in the game, but my cars are plain haha, dont have time to add any graphics yet. Will do that after finals, which is this week. I grabbed a couple of shots while racing, I'll post those up later.

jjasha, did you tune your cars to drift? I was never able to do that in forza 2. I only know how to tune for grip haha. And that only relatively well. Some stuff still confuses me. Mainly rebound and dampening.

i don't remember.. lol.. well, since i already made those graphics, it was quick and easy. haha. so less than an hour.. but for the original graphics, somewhere between 2-3 hours? haha

well, for drifting, i've had more success with stiffening the suspension. mostly rear. then neg camber front alot. i think thats how it was.. i don't remember. lol

i tune them for grip and just drift with that. lol

Well for grip you always want your car to be as neutral as possible. First you need to start with tire pressure. But there are quite a bit of variables. If stock your car is understeering and is front wheel drive you should raise your front tire pressure relative to your rear. In forza 2 it was a while till I started tuning, and boy was I surprised as to how much difference something like tire pressure makes.

edit: here is what a quick google search did http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tirete....jsp?techid=58

I learned by just reading online of what factors affect understeer and oversteer, still learning. I dunno what exactly dampening and rebound stiffness do. As I'm trying to learn what it actually does, and not just say ohh raising it reduces oversteer. I like to know why haha.

i actually prefer RWD over AWD... hehe.

my settings are 29 psi rear 30 psi front

then adjust sway, spring rate, rebound, bound according with weight distribution.

I must be the only one here that doesn't tune their cars at all. I bolt shit on and drive it however it's given to me. Sounds like I need to start tuning.

Just opened it. I are confuzzled.

EDIT - From link posted above for the SlaveMonkey sheet:

To tune any car make sure you are in it and go to:
1.my cars
2.press x (car list)
3.press the LB until you reach the data needed (ex: power rpm, curb weight, redline rpm, etc.)
4.input into sheet
5.if aero parts are installed, write the default vaules into advanced>aero>default downforce.
6.if using the stiff suspension values, make sure you recheck these numbers for any change you make in weight and downforce.

This sucks though. I have my PC hooked up to my TV, so I have to keep switching inputs to get the data

My newest toy. Best so far in the 1/4 has been 10.6. Car's got too much power & nasty lag from a stop to get into the 9's. More of a "highway" monster, really.

Thats crazy, I had one in blue as well. Just sold it not too long ago. I know what you mean about launching it. WOT through third was pretty pointless. I didnt really tune the chassis much. But I did hit 262mph on the back straight of the LeMans Old Mulsanne circuit.

Im currently on a top speed kick and Im working with a TVR Speed 12. Only hit 251mph with it so far but I havent fully upgraded it yet.

Only just barely ran 260mph with this one. I have to play with it a little more.

And yeah, WOT with no driver assists is pointless with this thing. Once it hits third, it still spins the tires a bit. Have to wait til' about halfway through the gear before I can floor it.

Really would like to buy the SSC & see what it can do fully upgraded.
