Made Some Progress: Mid 13's with slipping clutch

Went to the track tonight after my friend coaxed me into going. I'm kinda glad I did, the clutch still slipped a bit but I was able to get 2 decent runs.

1st Run.

60" = 2.22
330 = 6.02
1/8 = 8.98
MPH = 84.80
1000 = 11.50
1/4 = 13.62
MPH = 106.94

2nd. Run

60" = 2.24
330 = 5.97
1/8 = 8.85
MPH = 85.95
1000 = 11.36
1/4 = 13.45
MPH = 108.03

I'm almost certain if My clutch would grab and I drop the 60 down to a 2.0 the car should break into 12's. I should look into an engine damper as well.

I also saw a particular White 1st gen that "Beats NSX" run a not so NSX time.

Well that's all for this year, hopefully Competition Clutch doesn't push back the release of the disc,pp,flywheel again so I'll be set for next seasons with a few more new toys

Nice. That second run is damn good considering your clutch is slipping.

Nah... I think I'm driving the CL for another 2 weeks tops then its getting garaged for the entire winter.

Then I'll be rocking a busted up Automatic 4 Cyl accord.

And I'll definetly keep my eyes open for an intercooler. I would dare to say I think mid 12s is possible on our cars with a few more modifications.

and not that It would really matter but I don't have the methanol kit hooked up yet either.

Just the stock ESM. I'll hook up the Meth kit when I get the emanage which won't be before I install a new clutch.

Good numbers.

I can't wait to see what kind of times you run with an appropriate clutch. If you're looking for some grippy street rubber that hooks up pretty good at the track, look at the Falken Azenis. I've seen people pull close to drag radial 60 footers with these tires.
