Thumbs down Disappointing Track Results

So I went To E-Town today... was kinda warm in the mid 80's and here was my best run.

60'.... 2.388
330... 6.201
1/8... 9.289
MPH... 80.07
1000... 11.918
1/4... 14.155
MPH... 101.07

Launching this cars a pain in the ass. Shooting for 13s next weekend if I can drop my 60' to less than a 2.2X

Guess Just need some practice and cooler temperatures.

Unhappy 5AT sad runs tonight

I have even more disappointing track times. I just got back from Infineon Raceway today, it was about 78 degrees.

My best run was:
R/T.... .134
60...... 2.487
330.... 6.563
1/8..... 9.832
MPH... 75.22
1000.. 12.79
1/4..... 15.091
MPH... 93.63

Think my IMRC may be dead, will have to check later. Tires were run at 32 and 26psi, not much of a difference in times. Best run was done in SS.

mods: CT Headers and Icebox

hey eddie. i hope you didn't get those times with a 6 spd. i just wish we had real track here in SD. there is only a 1/8th mile one.

Infineon Raceway must be a kick ass place to frequent. do you hang out there and see anything cool, Viscous? pics?

I didn't take many pics. My girl did though, not sure what she took pics of. I'll check later.

There were mostly a lot of domestics there. They comprised like 90% of the jackpot and SS brackets. For the ST and SPS we saw a good mix of imports. Nothing really too cool, just the usual Sti's, wrx's, evo's, g35's, integras, supras, 350z's, etc. There was a badass 11 sec. Grand National and a Renntech S600 that was running low, mid 13's. 04 911 Turbo looked pretty sweet, and hit a 12.5.

tommy, yeah I'll def. be modding more as time progresses. Need to have the car checked though, it's been driving noticeably with less spunk since I went down to LA and back this past weekend.

JBlue, 14.15 @ 101 is pretty badass, but like you said, with cooler temps and a lower 60', you'll be into 13's easy. Let us know how it goes next week. I'll put my money on 13.92 @ 101.5.

just making sure. your times were okay for an A/T. but totally unacceptable for a 6 spd. g'luck!

Yeah.... these Pirelli P-Zeros aren't putting down the power to the ground. I'll probably be in the market after I get boosted for some 17 X 8/8.5 with some good rubber.

Here is a 14.17 Run vs. a Vette

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybYCw7aO69I

He had a much better reaction time and I thought he woulda raped me... but he barely took me at the end had the track been 50 ft. longer I woulda had him.
