Where in Chicago to have rotos changed...

Hi everyone,

I was at McGrath Acura today getting an oil change, the service advisor told me that my rear rotors had rust on them and they could not be cut, they needed to be replaced. She quoted me $470 for the rear rotors and pads.

This sounds a bit high, do you guys have any recs for the Chicago area?

Thanks,
Denny

I got my rear pads here for $46/pair + shipping.

http://www.oemacuraparts.com/

Got my rear Brembo rotors from tirerack fro 41$/each + shipping each.

I used the write up on this site to do the work, and it went well (aside from getting off the rotors, until I finally drilled out the retaining bolts).

You could drive out to my house... bring some beer. I can get parts at cost 99% of the time.

www.heeltoeauto.com (racingbrake rotors and pads)

for $557.08 you could get a huge upgrade in pads and rotors for all four corners..and then install yourself

Where in Chicago are you? City or burbs? North or south? I know a lot of shops in the city and could help.

You could just do them yourself. Its really easy and shouldn't take more than an hour. Maybe two if you are inexperienced.

Did I just read that correctly? I would like to get my headlights blacked out kinda like the way JNC does some of the other TL headlights on the forum. I'm trying to get the ZKW replica lenses to replace the stock lenses then I'd be set.

How many headlights have you done so far? What's your service charge? *cough*free*cough*

^ I'm assuming same way as a 2nd gen? Bake it in the oven, lol. I have no idea how it's done so I was gonna just send it to JNC to work his magic on the lights if I don't get the ZKW replica lenses soon.
