I recently moved to the Schaumburg area and don't know any good acura/Honda performance car shops. Please suggest.

I'm in the midwest and currently researching tuners myself. I ran across One6, but don't know anything about them. Any help would be appreciated as I have plans for the ILX!

 

the thing is; performance shops are SUPER expensive.

what are you guys wanting to do that a regular person or a regular shop CANT DO????

 

when i was very much into the tuner scene, LHT Performance down in FL was my go-to shop: custom i/h/e, custom tunes, one-off parts, etc. I'd like to find a shop that does truly custom, but reputable work.

 

aint no one making custom stuffs for the ILX.
please refine your goals, what specifically do you want done to your ILX?
there are no tunes, cant tune the car.
what little aftermarket parts come from the civic platform. so, theoretically, one can buy the Civic parts and install at a regular shop.


I take that back... hondata offers tuning software for the 2012-2014 ILX.
You can always call LHT to make you custom parts and have them shipped.

 

already communicating with LHT. i will def need custom fabrication. project may never launch, but that won't stop me from poking around a bit. for now, it's all hush hush
