my buddy works at swiss port at ohare so i am always out there hanging out there with him and his TL. its the one with the G37 rims and a cop always behind him for speeding haha.

When is the next meet?

Anyone here did the j pipe and HFPC install from RSV6? I am thinking of getting it but wondering how much of a difference it makes.

 

^^ a big difference....I have the ATLP J-Pipe and Race Pipe/ Base Exhaust (still stock pre cats)....you will notice a power gain if you throw both of those on your car. I think with the pre-cars and a full exhaust you're looking at 30-40 whp

 

Awesome. I will definitely be doing it then for that type of power gain. That plus the CAI should give it a nice boost.

Hey - I see that you have the iSimple install. I am thinking of getting the kit and doing that so I can listen to Pandora from my iPhone. Any chance you want to catch up, bs and help me with it? :-)

Been reading that thread and thinking of ripping the side panels out versus trying to unhooking the clip with a coat hanger. Was it easy for you?

That was actually the first "mod" I did to my TL about a week after I bought it....my first trip to Acurazine to read about everything (back when my bank account was much larger). I had a radio shop install mine, and had them locate the iPod connector to my glove box.

I took apart my entire center consol for the most part when installing my footwell LEDs, so the process should be almost identical. It was not hard as all and I could do it again fairly quickly. I would be more than happy to help you, but I am only in the area for another month before I move back to Indiana for school. If you want to meet up or need help with the install shoot me a PM and Ill see what my schedule looks like.
