So I see a cpl more folks chiming in on the nxt meet! May or June is fine with me as well...but I think June will give some folks more time to mod I guess 
anybody got any ideas for a location?? I'm thinking downtown for a nice backdrop + Jason's camera (or the guy that had the fish eye lens...can't remeber his name) = SICK PHOTOSHOOT....
Nobody has said anything about driving to chicago....u guys scared of da CHI??

not scared. just that traffics a bitch and for the ppl that have to travel on the highway quite a distance will hate standing in traffic on the way home. also potholes are another consern for the ppl that are droped and who are running a 30-40 profile tire

No one on the IL AZ crew has a fisheye to my knowledge except maybe Seth (who was perma-banned 
). Anyway, Chicago is a bitch to cruise in with all the cars, potholes, stoplights, pedestrians etc. I'm down for meeting up there but then what? Eat? Drink?
Anyway, I'm not that familiar with Chicago so you guys that have been here all your life, your input is needed! Theres gotta be a local spot that isn't too crowded with an amazing backdrop. I'll ask some photog guys and see what they come up with.

Man i am down with May.. but i will be out of town may 22nd. for a week. so we can do it in june.
i don't mind meeting in chicago.. potholes are a bitch right now. they are trying to patch them up but its a bitch. there's a spot in the south that a lot of underground racers go meet on friday's. its a burger king with a big parking lot. but its not nice place. but i don't care meeting any were else.
am trying so freaking hard to get my rims by then. but man its a bitch finding the right one.

i cant remember exactly which parking lot it is but i think its fullerton or division beach is usually totally empty plus it has a nice background with all the trees and lake michigan, i can have my friend come with his camera if we need him to, im actually going to meet up with him right now to get all the pics and vids from the last meet

meet doesnt have to be in chicago...i was just thinkin about the photoshoot...
anybody ever been to the streets behind the NBC tower downtown?? its like a culdasac that very open and look pretty nice at nite....we could line up all the cars and take pics on evening/nite...just an idea that came acrosss my head...

the meet sounds good. anyone think of starting a chicago "AC" club for the people who are becoming regulars,at the meets. I think everyone has some contacts and it could be a good networking thing, as well as make our meets much stronger! ( hmmmhmmm, Jason, Carlos, Adam, etc.) l think we can make it somethin great i know alot of people who could contribute. let me know what u think.....
am ok with this.. i just started with this forum and i like how you think... i'd like to be a part of this if possible. just let me know. thanks

Hello Chi town. I have been getting sick of all the east coast chatter and have been wanting to find a chicago meet. I am a new RL owner and I am in the process of removing the "stock" label... So where in June... City to crowded we need space to cook out...

well, i have a tl-s that i blew the tranny on the dyno. so it was going to be turboed and 6 speed. then i bought a cl-s 6spd origanally for parts but it turns out that it is barely hit and im fixing it now and putting the turbo on in a few months and its gonna be my track car. the tl-s is getting another auto tranny and gonna be my DD. curenty it has a misfire problem that im figuring out. so my 03 ABP tl-p is my DD for now. cant complain seeing how it getting 27+ mpg

The idea has been talked about before but no one has ever looked into it. Someone needs to get a permit for a BBQ/MEET in one of the many forest preserves in the Chicago area. Up north would most likely work since our brothers from the north tend to represent quite well. Any date/time/place works for me!

you only need a permit if you are taking over a house thingy. i forget the name... lol
but if you are just grilling in a open area you don't need a permit. but since we are going to be a lot of people there will be cops harrassing us. i know that the forest preserve cops can be punks. when i go thru there i lower my windows. i always get pulled over. i hate it. but you can look into it.
