McGrath Acura in Morton Grove – few days ago I bought 2006 TL 6MT Navi sales experience – excellent. I really liked the place and people. The finance manager was very nice to work with – did not try to say a word after declining some add-on. She went over the contract 2 times to makes sure I understood all the number and to check if everything added up! The service, well I can’t comment, but when I picked up my car, it was dirty in the back, and a lot of small plastic protective peaces were left un-removed. I suppose to talk to my sales manager and he will take care of my car – he promised that they will clean and wax the car – time will tell.
Muller’s Woodfield Acura in Schaumburg – a little over a year ago I bough CPO 2004 TL 6MT non-NAVI. I liked the sales person, and the car, but I never felt that I got the good deal. To top it off, my loan supposes to be for 48 mo, but actually they put me for 49 months, without disclosing anything. I did not like the finance manager at all, and the dealership is not that appealing like the McGrath.
Pauly Acura in highland Park – year and a half I bough CPO 2002 RSX base. Really nice sale experience and very easy going climax during the process. The service was also great, and was able to get some new tires and breaks as a good will work.
I could also comment on couple Honda dealerships such: Grand Honda in Elmhurst, O’Hare Honda in Des Plaines, and Jacob twins Honda in Chicago.

Continental Acura in Naperville has always treated me well. I had a 2001 CL-S that I bought used from a Cadillac dealer, they still gave me first class service on my brake rotors (x2).
They now have access to a test track that you can test drive their vehicles.

McGrath has a nice showroom and all, but when I went in to talk about buying they offerend me a lowball trade-in price 1/2 with I could get in private sale, and then were asking MRSP to start. This was after talking to the internet guy to hopefully avoid this BS. Needless to say I didnt feel they were negotiating in good faith and went elsewhere.
Muller's Woodfield Acura however quoted me and excellent price over email. The price was the same when I went in with no surprises. They price was even the same when they had to do a dealer trade to get the color combination that I wanted. Only bad point is that they wouldnt take my e-loan check saying it was a "draft check" and took too long to clear. Im not sure about the truth of that, but they were able to provide comparable fianancing. Overall it was the most hassle free car I've ever purchased.
Havent been in for service yet.

Great Dealership, bought my car there, nice salesman and Lake County taxes instead of inflated Cook County taxes.
I had to bring in my TL for repairs and the service department let me keep the MDX loaner for three days. No charge.
Very happy with them.

Bought my TL from Napleton.
I am 50-50 on their service.
Its a small service center compared to McGrath(Westmont) and I have usually had to make an appointment.
At McGrath I just bring the car in and they do the service.
Nice service people.
At Napleton when I bought my 05 TL A-Spec they said it was the nicest car they have sold in a while. And it just felt kinda weird buying an Acura with Kia's on the same lot.
So 50-50 on Napleton because I had a rattle and had to take it back twice to get it fixed.
I lean more toward McGrath due to me not having to schedule an appointment and I had an odd suspension noise that they fixed the first time.

Touching on what someone already said about McGrath.
The reason they did not get my purchase is because they low balled my trade in by 3k. Not only that but then I told them if they are going to go that route that I want under invoice and that's where we can start. They then smart mouthed me and got very disrespectful. I dont think the floor manager liked the fact that he lost a cash sale because they forget they're in the service industry.
I went to Arlington Acura and had a deal put together in less than 30 minutes for the right trade in value and the a reasonable purchase price. Sadly Arlington Acura is way too far for service and I am stuck (sort of) going to McGrath, who can not get shit right.
I have a wonderful relationship with Acura Client Services because of the constant retardation at McGrath.

Arlington Acura in Palatine was a good sales experience for me but their service department sucks.
They will resist even looking at a warranty repair. I brought mine in for an oil change and to have them look at the 2nd/3rd gear roughness. Their test drive consisted of the oil change mechanic driving it from the bay in the back around the building to the front. I was then told that there was nothing wrong with it and the service manager was actually quite rude.
This level of service has been the standard there for years.

Bought from McGrath (Morton Grove). Sales experience was great, the finance manager was the most polite and professional that I've ever come across.
Service department is mediocre so far...the service advisors are very attentive and give you status update calls but I had to take the car back twice for the same obvious issue. They were very apologetic, but only after I went to the general manager...who makes it no secret he wants you to give all fives on the Acura buyer survey (which I'm holding back on).
On the first service appointment I was given a loaner TL that had a huge dent on the rear fender and smelled like a donkey inside. The loaner clerk assured me that the fender damage was recorded "in the computer". A few days after returning the loaner, I got a call from the loaner manager asking how the car was damaged in my possesion. Not cool! After another call to the GM they backed off.

The best service department I have to say is Acura of Libertyville. There was something wrong with my paint, I took it in and got it checked out, they fixed the paint and gave me a TSX loaner for a week

Got My 2006 TL RRP W/Navi from Continental in Naperville, best pricing, great service and friendly people who go out of their way to make you feel good. Just had my A1 service done there, she's still tight as a drum
Went to McGrath in Westmont, took a test drive, salesman talking on his cell phone and not too interested

Ed Napleton in Elmhurst are really slow, as in months to get the paperwork done and the Finance department is not to be trusted. CPO is also used to bargain a higher price for vehicles as they are not fixed to CPO standards. Consider all CPO as regular used cars and check everything on the CPO checklist.

Yes stay away from Ed napleton. Went in there just looking and had me held up there trying to push a 13 Accord on me witch I knew was about 5k out of my price tag. Guys were real dicks.

McGrath at Morton Grove - You can really work on the price with these guys. Bob Webber is the guy in service that you wanna talk to. The inspected my car when I bought it and said that side engine mount was broken. They quoted me to $350 and I said no. I called parts department a week ago and asked for the part. Guy said $150 and I told him that I can get OEM for $65 on eBay. He got the price down to $79 which was fine with me. I picked it up and then asked Bob for labor. he said something about $100 but then he go it down to $60. I was ok with it so I let them do it. Total part and labor after negotiations was $140 instead of $350. He also go the alignment for me for way cheaper than regular price but I can't remember the exact amount. Good customer service and you can always negotiate the price. Always ask for Bob!

good information since I just get my 06 Type-S
Looks like Continental Acura of Naperville will earn my Dealer Service
I did have really excellent experience with Continental HONDA of Countryside back when I bought a '96 Civic EX
