A Vette is a Vette. It's pretty damn powerful but nothing exotic or special. I see them and say "damn that's a nice car" but if a Gallardo pulled up next to me, I'd sure as hell make my passenger check that out before I had them look a Vette that you can pretty much see all over (unless you live in Westchester apparently).
Now I've never owned a Vette so I cant vouche for the reliability, and I've never owned a Lamborghini so I cant speak for that either but I can say that GM makes some pretty unreliable cars out there and that's not an opinion, it's a fact. Too many friends have broken cars due to the fact that they think America makes reliable cars even though they cost significantly less than a foreign car. That statement might not matter to you but maybe this will. Yes, Lamborghini isn't on the list and I'm not saying it'd be better than Chevy or worse than them, this is just to represent Chevy.

I'm sorry, but you are retarded.
#1 Chevy's alway known for its great engines like 5.7L V8s. I have friends who bought Camaro SS, x police car Caprice years ago and still running today.
#2 Vettes aren't exotic, that's correct. However a zo6 is quite the different beast. Why pay over $120k on a car that can't even beat something as simple as $75k...
with 7.0L at 505hp, the car is a beast. It looks gorgeous in my book and will last for least 8 years for sure. When you think about American cars that breaks down before hitting 100k miles.... you're thinking about Caviliers, Cobalts, Corsicas, Luminas etc.,
350 engines and up are known to last............
I'd take that zo6 over the lamborghini anyday.
You have to understand the cost of maintenance on a Lamborghini far exceeds the zo6. In the end, is Lamborghini more reliable than the Chevy zo6? The answer can be layed out in dollars and cents....

The new Z06 is an awesome car, but anyone who could choose between the two and chooses a Z06 over a Lamborghini is retarded. (If you have millions in your bank account and money isn't an issue) In this case, I would go for the name. I could care less if a Z06 can walk away from me slooooowwwwwly. 99% of the time, it won't matter.

^speak for yourself buddy.....
you don't need to have "millions" to get a zo6 it's only a $75,000 at the most...
last I checked, my buddy Lou who owns a silver zo6 makes no more than $120k/year

Really, it's whatever floats your boat. If that happens to be a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, that's fine. If it's a Z06 or a GT500 Mustang or an M3 Bimmer, that's also fine.

Granted, there are those to whom prestige and image are all important. But there are a bunch who could care less what others think or like to see, and just want something they may have missed in their younger days.
Takes all kinds to make up the market place.

The Z06 is the best bang for the buck car on the market. Yes a Porsche 997TT, Lambo, or Ferrari is a more exotic car but they are many times more expensive.
