I actually like the spoiler, plus the SRT team designed most of the aero parts with downforce in mind, they actually tested it. It looks kinda weird when its painted, and with it off, it looks too plain.

I think the matte black spoiler accents the black panel around the tail lights nicely. What I DON'T like is how the stripes go around the "horns" badge on the front, wtf? Shoulda just left it off and made a continuous stripe.

The Matte Spolier is what differentiates the SRT8 with the lower model Challengers. People that think it needs to be painted aren't "true" muscle car fans...

One is for the brake, the other is for the parking brake. With multi-piston calipers, you have to have a separate component for parking brake. There is no multi-piston caliper with integrated parking brake on the market. With this design, you either have to have a separate caliper for parking brake or utilize the drum style parking brake like the 3rd gen TL, most Lexus, most BMWs, EVO, and STi.
