I was referring to the walking on lego on purpose.

Thanks for explaining the other part.

Almost as painful as plowing into a curb.

I am sure Yumcha prefers lego over that.

Ah well.

Got the car thoroughly cleaned up yesterday instead of the routine touchless washes...looks very good in the sun now.

They'd have to send someone out to buy a set of triple square sockets.

@Yumcha Looking good, my friend. Very good.

So, my Sister just put in the order for a 2022 Audi S5 Sportback.

Blackout trim a la the "quantum" gray. Pre-sense, heads-up display, phone box, park assist, carbon trim...helped her with the pricing yesterday. This is her first new car since completing her internal med residency at Cedar Sinai over in LA. She's back here on a 2-3 year contract at one of the hospitals and was putzing around in her old 15 y.o. Civic and I think she thought, yeah, get something better. Happy for her. ETA is October...hopefully not the ordeal I went through.

She didn't listen to big brother and debadge the rear though.

Zipit.

She would not be my sister if she didn't plow into curbs too.

As a rite of passage, she is expected to replace her windshield too within the first week or 2.

I'm just happy there's another Audi owner joining the ranks.
It really is a spectacular car.
My buddy @1StGenCL got a convertible B9 and we lowered it last weekend
and MAN what a powerplant that little 3 litter snail will be with a tune

I should've showed her my "car" collection.

Zipit, you.

I just was not sure she wanted a Korean car, that's all.

And joking aside, obviously, I told her to scope out the A4/S4/A5/S5/RS5 cars...those others were just so that she didn't think I was being overly myopic/biased...

Probably not ideal for the weather up here once the temp goes south the freezing point. But, yeah...that'd be terrific.

Did she get a car yet? i cant see any pictures. Could she find actually find any cars to buy?

I drove by local Mercedes dealer and there was only about 20% of the normal inventory on the lot... if i didnt know i would think they are going out of business.
It was so bad they put some of their commercial sprinter in the front as place holders
