Your Ultimate Garage

I got to sketching last night and came up with a design for my ultimate garage. Each stall would be huge (12' wide by 20' long) to give plenty of room for the car. I'd use that epoxy material to cover the concrete and use a modern theme with the lighting with stainless steel and the sort. The building itself would be a bit of a Y-shape with the two lengths of the garage coming together at a 90 degree angle with the leg of the Y being the shop, complete with lift, tools, and air compressor.

It would have a detailing stall specially designed for this task with high-powered lights, electrical outlets, and shelving. Finally, I'd like to have on-site fueling so I don't have to trust those idiots around here to pump it for me.

The cars are: Audi R8, DeLorean, Hyundai Genesis V8, Range Rover Supercharged, Lexus LS460L, and Porsche 911 Turbo (997).

Each car would have the flag of its native country hung from the ceiling. No windows or skylights to prevent excessive fading/bleaching of paint and upholstery.

It sounds a little excessive, I'm sure but that's what dreaming is great for; being excessive.

6 car garage, indoor wash bay, two lifts, 52" widescreen HDTV, kick ass sound system

You think your list is excessive, I see a lexus and hyundai in there...this is excessive...
1) Black Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 with 19" 3pc staggered HRE 542R, 20% tint, smoked tails (flagship)
2) Black SL65 AMG with 19" Brabus monoblocks, ECU flash, and 20% tint (the beast)
3) Black Porsche 911 Turbo 997 with 20% tint (for the backroads)
4) Alpine white E92 BWM M3 with optional 19" (the daily)
5) NBP Acura NSX (05') with Comptech supercharger, upgraded exhaust, suspension,brakes...etc.. (project car)
6)Silver Mercedes ML63 AMG with 20% tint, 22" HRE 591R (junk hauler)

And i'll have my TL finished off (CTSC, all perf. mods, 20% tint, 19" HREs, Stoptech BBK), professionally detailed, and chillin on the driveway in front of the house

I am envisioning glass boxes to store each car (open museum like atmosphere)
Circled around a modern lounge with many leather couches and translucent fully stocked bar.

Top Cars include: (all white!)

Ferrari 599
Aston DBS
BMW X6 (favorite 'SUV' at the moment)
Murc LP640 Convertible
Aston Rapide

very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. .....

McLaren F1 GTR - black
E39 M5 w/ E60 M5 V10 - red
997 GT3 RS - white/black
Carrera GT - white
AM DBS - silver
Exige S 240 - orange
Audi R8 V10? white/black

430 Scuderia
F40, painted black
C6 ZR1 - blue
Brabus SL65 - black
LP640 in white

'69 Camaro RS/SS convertible, fully restored - red/black stripes
'02 Camaro SS hardtop, gutted, tubbed, full drag suspension, forged internals, cam/heads, APS TT kit, built, faceplated T56, built 9" rear, always on skinnies/slicks - white/black roof

LGT wagon with new STi drivetrain
Sienna AWD
TJ, Rubicon edition, fully built with everything you need for rock crawling... silver
FJ Cruiser, black with black roof, same as ^

Wink With a view......

Simple.....

The Sunny day drivers / Track stars

08 Maserratti GT - (Black) The pure Gran Turismo
08 Mercedes SL65 AMG - (Silver) Just because
08 Nissan GT-R - (Red) Is there a reason NOT to have one
08 Audi RS6 - 600HP in a grocery getter? Bliss. And in blue
02 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II NISMO - (Bayside Blue)Because only 20 exist

Show time at the strip

68 Chrysler Hemi Charger - (hemi orange)Always loved those big bodied Chrysler's
68 Plymouth Road Runner 440 Six Pack -(Candy apple red) See above
70 Dodge Challenger R/T Hemi - (Purple)I have to have a pony car, Chevy/Ford are too common

Daily driver(s)

08 Subaru S402 Legacy Wagon (Navy blue) - a very rare, but somewhat practical racer you can drive daily, plus the wagon is only a 20kg penalty over the sedan
+
09 Cadillac CTS-V (Black)- It would be sent to Callaway or Henessey for some TLC

I can't forget the wife.....

08 Volvo V70 (Gunmetal)- She loves those
08 Honda Oddesey - (blue)She thinks Honda is a religion

So the facility has to house all of them, so the same as the OP wrote.......Lift, wash and detail rooms, along with an area that allows my buddies to come over and look at all of them.

Food and wait staff would come from Hooters (No color preference).......

I guess I must be simple...

S63 AMG
NSX
Range Rover Supercharged
S2000
SL63
and my current TSX (I want to keep it forever... too much sentimental value to ever part with it)

Hopefully someday, I can see some of those cars in my garage.

As for the layout, I want a three car garage attached to my house with the DD's in there. At the front of the garage will be a staircase that leads to a hallway that goes underground below my driveway. Down the hallway will lead to another large garage that will be built into a wall and will house all of my specialty cars. I also want a bay off to the side that is large enough so I can store my boat(s) during the winter time, away from the elements.

In it, I want a detailing booth, Dyno, and a lift so I can "play" with my cars whenever I want to. In addition, I want a custom audio system built into the walls and a few 52' TV's mounted to the wall. The entire space will be climate controlled and the floor will be covered with the original checkered linoleum that adorns many enthusists garages. In the corner will be a fully stocked bar that my grandmother currently has in her basement right now that has a vintage Rolls Royce front end mounted to the front of the bar (It's a replica RR, not a real one) She said I can have it when I buy my own house and I want it in my garage.

Back to work so I can someday afford all this stuff...

I'm very simple. I just want a 4-bay garage so a) my RL can be kept inside along with wifey's Pilot and my S2000, and b) I can add an NSX.

2009 CTS-V sitting out front as a daily summer driver.

Call it...the ultimate 90's Honda fan garage with a twist.

@Mrmako.....didn't you know, Honda IS a religion!

You should replace that 08 Cayenne Turbo with a 09 Cayenne Turbo S, more HP more Torque (about 50 of each) and a touch screen nav. Don't forget the Cayenne can tow, you don't need the Tundra.

Whats the point of having a marble-floor garage with heated tiles and racing memorabilia all around when the only thing inside it is a Prius and an old Accord?

And besides the OP mentioned the cars that would be in his garage too....

OK ok..... So just make it a 15,000 square foot facility with a lift bay, a cafe area with TV's and Hooter girls, a detail area, a full stock of Snap-On tools, and an endless supply of beer to the beer taps.

Got it.......

Now, my broken Pinto will be parked in there.......... Happy?
