so, awhile ago, I got some 20" Foose Nitrous wheels, and though I get a lot of complements on them... I'm not really feelin' them anymore... I'm actually thinking about painting my stock 20's...

here's a picture of it now... I know, I know I've used this pics so many times before I don't have a profile pic of my FX cuz I feel that with these Foose wheels, having the lip... actually makes them look smaller. Lesson learned... wheels with decent lip (sometimes) make the wheel appear smaller The stock wheels being flush (no lip) actually look bigger than the Foose.

Mm.. yeah if they're gonna be the stockers, I'd keep them stock. Sell the Foose and get something nicer!

Anyways, if you want a change then do the time attack look but with a silver outline and not red.

A guy with a 335i did that and it looks pretty cool.

Personally, I'd have your stock 20's. I always liked the rim design on the FX. Then again, it's one of the cars, I like the way they look stock

 

If I had to choose, I would go with the matte black. Not sure I like the options but that's me.

 

Keep your stock wheels as is. Sell your foose and buy new 22's.

I think its just the rims that make those look bad. And you should of went with much deeper lips, like 2-3" in the front and 4" in the rear. Not a big fan of Foose rims, so I suggest just finding another aftermarket wheel to replace those Foose ones. I wouldn't waste your time and effort on painting your stockies.

btw. definitely get black with polished lip again.

I have to agree, the stock rims unpainted look great.

 

the only thing about deep lips is that it would have to be 22's... if I go even deeper with 20's it actually makes the wheel look smaller...
