YikeS! Watch out for them RSX-Ses!!
Hey
I was just browsing threough clubrsx and noticed that have turbo kits out for the car and some members have already had them put in. Most members with a turbo are running b/w 13.3-13.8 Additionally, there are at least 3 other RSX type S turbos being developed by different vendors, w/one turbo offering a gain of 500hp! (w/rebuilt bottom end of course).
The 500hp turbo is being developed by Haytech, which appears to be a reputable company. Additionally, Hondata just came out w/ an ecU upgrade that netted a 14whp gain. (the car had only an intake and was dynoed b4 w/the intake and then after w/ the hondata eCU). Suppsosedly Hondata is working on new maps and maps 4 boosted applicates as well
I hear the new Kblock i(2.4L/2.0L) have very good potential and looks as if the reputable aftermarket vendors are going at them hard
P.s. i think an rsx w/ a 2.4L upgrade + turbo+ecu upgrade would be sicK! Sorry 4 the long post, just anted 2 let u guys know how the other cars are doing

From speaking with some of the drag racing people, the "K" series blocks are supposed to be able to hold in excess of 1000 HP! (with the right internals) You will see some sick stuff coming out of the RSX-S very soon.

unsure,
Yeah, I was talking with Chris--the owner of clubrsx--and they are developing a race car that is going to be pushing in the neighborhood of 1000HP+. I will be interested to see how long that one guys motor lasts at that level of boost. I think as long as the fuel is there, he will be fine.

Yup they have LSDs out--kinda
All type R's have LSDs so typeS owners could get one from japan, however I hear some japanese tuners are working on an upgraded LSD (is that feasible??) to handle more hP

I was looking at the RSX and Accord along w/ the CLS. I almost bought the RSX-S, but my last car was a V8, so i thought the transistion to a 4-banger would be too much. I like the torque of the 3.2L (J32A2). The RSX looks like it's a modders dream tho'.

i think once the comptech comes out with their S/C for the CL-S. and that's all the CL-S has as far as motor mods
and the RSX-S all it has is that turbo kit as far as motor mods that would be a good race.
