Except neither cars are mine- sister's and mom's. I do drive a TL though! But I'll be keeping it a few more years. Thought I'd share since everyone else in this section seems to be upgrading.
Suspects to be traded in:
Mom's ride:
Sister's ride:
The C350. It's a black/black 2008 with 40,000 miles that's driven by my mom who lives in Michigan. RWD is the sux in snow and she's really been itching to get a new car anyway. Problem solved- 2011 Mercedes GLK.
The TL. A 2004 ABP/Camel with 100,000 miles that my sister has driven for three or so years now. I drive a 2005 that I've been blessed with as my first car. She graduated college in May and has wanted to buy a new car ever since as she has a good-paying job now. Problem solved- my mom's 2008 C350. She does indeed have to pay for it on her own. The Benz dealer raped my poor sister on the trade in value of her TL.
Anyway! The GLK has every package except for the lighting and appearance ones. My mom didn't find the need for them and was working for a <$50K price. Her C350 has every option except for premium II and AMG package. On to the pics.
Happy new owners next to their Benzes.
Drove the GLK with 34 miles on the odometer and it drives almost exactly the same as the C350. Obviously as they're based on the same platform, but still I was impressed. Drives nothing like my dads 2007 GL450 which is tank. It is so plush and just well put together on the inside. Reminds you why you buy a Mercedes-Benz. Shit is tight as a drum. Thanks for reading. There's two very happy women in my family right now.

Awesome Craig! I wish you and the family the best with the new whips!
So it sounds like you are the only one without a Benz now. Time for an upgrade. C63 AMG

I got her year-old snow tires for this coming winter and we put my Toyo Versados on her TL before we traded it in. I'll get a set of summer tires next spring.
Building in the background is my Acura dealer though! Haha.
I've found that posting any pic of my sister on this website tends to draw a lot of attention.

If CJ's mom took the same care of her C350 as CJ's sister did to her TL, I wouldn't touch it. Screw the C63.. the new E63 AMG (biturbo 5.5L) is what I would pick.

You'll piss your pants. I didn't drive one, but I rode in one a year ago or so. Rocket ship.
She's 50, recently remarried and has three kids.
I don't expect anything less venturing into other areas of the forum.
Yeah you really should consider it. My mom didn't have a single problem with hers other than a satellite radio antenna replacement @ 5,000 miles. Smooth sailing since, just have to get used to paying $200+ per each scheduled maintenance visit.
Haha my mom babied that car. She had it professionally detailed biyearly even.
