Yep...I've Lost It
I had been ogling these LED taillights for my Santa Fe for the last 8 months now and finally had some extra money so I blew most of it on these. Yeah...that's the way I am; get some more dough and spend it.
$450 for full array LEDs for brake and turn signals. I'm already wondering if I've made a mistake although I'm sure I'll love them when I get them. It's just $450 is a big bill to bite off at once.

Sorry, but not a fan of those LED tail lights, not like I am against them in general, but they don't happen to look too great on a Santa Fe.
Your car though, if you like the look of them, as long as they're not altezzas or those ricey LEDs with arrows in them, that's fine with me.

I'm not quite sure how i feel about them...the pics don't really do it for me though. Either way, you obviously like them enough to dump $450 on them so good luck with them and post some pics when you get them.

LEDs are something that I would not spend extra money on. If they come on the car, standard, fine. Why would I spend $450 for the guy behind me to enjoy.

this doesn't sound. Bottled up or pre-scripted at all.

Santa Fe is a good car, but I personally would not do anything like LED on it. Maybe rims.

It's his money and he should do what he wants with it.
Speaking of LED lights, I went crazy and replaced all 9 or 10 interior bulbs with PIAA TERA led lights on my FX35. I'm not going to disclose how much i spent, but I love how my car looks like a freaking space ship when the doors are open
If the mod makes you happy, you spent your money correctly.

I find it funny when Japanese car fans make fun of the Korean car manufacturers. They are in the same place Honda, Datsun and Toyota were in the 70s but Hyundai is getting better even faster. If everyone held onto the ignorant idea that the Japanese cars were just a joke there would be no Infiniti, Lexus or Acura. Hyundai is not a joke and despite some of the engineering being a few years behind say Honda, they definately give the average buyer more of what they want for less money.
As for the tails they wouldn't be my choice but if you lke them go for it, plus there is the safety advantage, no matter how small it actually is in the real world.
