The 350Z is a nice car but if your looking for brutal power application at the cost of less ammenities go the the STI. The 350Z is a better mix but the STI makes not joke as to why it was developed.

STI no doubt about it. The 350Z is a great car, but not much tuning ability unless you wanna spend big $$$

Don't get down on the dude just cause he's thought about pulling an insurance scam. I'm pretty sure alot of people here themselves have or have thought about it. Yes the world is corupt. But you gotta except the fact.
I don't see what makes him spoiled about wanting to get rid of the car. Peoples tastes change. I wish I never got this CL and woulda got some other things I looked into. Sure the CL is a great car, but not for what I want, the 3 trannies i've trashed will contest to that.

ok, how do you get money from insurance scams when you crash your car into the wall, you are at fault, you get a point on your record for your fault, sure its totaled, you are getting a check in the mail, but you couldve gotten a lot more money selling it private party or traded it in, and you save more money in the long run due to insurance purposes.

the resale value on these cars is HORRIBLE!
my 99 3.0 has 50K on it and i'd be lucky to get more then 12K. But KBB rates it closer to 15-16

personally if i had to pick between a WRX STI vs the new Z. I'd go with the Sti in a heartbeat. just I don't like the styling on the Z(no offence to guys who do on here). Plus the current WRXs from a dead stop(CL-S owners will tell you this) if you race one from a stoplight they'll beat a CL-S(i'm not bagging on the CL-S it's still a sweet car

how much is the sti going to be? I've looked online for a bit, and all i found was a sketchy estimate of $30k. Is that going to be like fully loaded with the navi, or just the base.
I would never have considered the wrx, but the sti looks so dam tempting...one site lists stats of 4.8 sec 0-60, and upper 11's quarter mile! I dont know if thats completly true, but all that power in an awd...i think the 911 is the next cheapest alternative (tt quatro doesnt count beause stock, it doesnt have as much power)

speed? lol the wrx sti would kill the Z for considerable less money, then you can spend the money u saved and even upgrade it more out of proportion. they both are not comparable, they both are not sport cars, one is a roadster, one is a sedan tuned for performance.
