Rolling through a green light when it just turned yellow. The car in front of me gassed it and then salmmed on his brakes. I had gassed it thinking we were going through the light and smacked him. There was no stop line due to road construction and this kid had basically slammed on his brakes in the middle of the intersection. The airbags went off ( I was only going 15-20 mph). Looks like a new bumper, hood and fennders Will my car ever be the same The cop didnt give me a ticket but insurance said it was my fault!

if its just body damage...

hood/fenders/bumper.

just make sure you get oem replacements, have them painted at a quality body shop... and theyll be better than new.

Sorry about that man, and im glad you werent hurt also, but I think the insurance said its your fault because of the fact that the car behind you should always be in control and be able to stop from rear ending...I may be wrong, but thats what I thought

 

Thats what i am hoping happens Hopefully they can match the Silver. My black CL will keep me from ever buying a black car again

 

Wasnt hurt and this was the first time I have been in a car with the airbags going off. No big deal, just a small scrape on my hand

 

Its not the black paint from the Cl, because the CL is my first car, but its because black sucks to maintain...say hello anthracite on my next car

 

ive have my hood, and bumpers replaced more than I care to remember also. they match the silver paint perfectly everytime.

I wrecked my z that i used to have and I sold it within a week of gettin in back. (This was like 6 years ago).


My opinion, a car thats had front end damage of any sort will never drive the same again.

Sell it, and get somethin better than a G35.

 

It should be fine.. A car usually is only bad if it has frame damage. See what the damage is and see how it rides before you think about getting rid of it
