Wow, How Does This Happen?

Well today I went to Tyson's Honda to trade in my '01 CL-S for this silver '02 S2000 with red and black interior. The S2K had 24,000 miles on it and it was going for alittle more than $20,000. So I'm outside waiting for some assistance, jus checkin out the car (me and a couple friends). Finally, about an hour or so later we finally get a salesman. He got the keys for me, he was a cool salesman, he let me and my friend take it out by ourselves for a ride. I drove it around, and I just absolutly loved it. I had the top down lol, got a good feel for the car. I redlined through the first two gears and it felt great, VERY fun car. So I return to the dealership to get everything done. After a couple more hours, the salesman returns to me and tells me, "well, im sorry and i didn't know, but this car has been sold for a couple days now"...lmao i was just kinda shocked

but its alright, I went to another honda dealership and found a red '03 s2k with 17k miles going for about $24,000...so hopefully tomorrow around 12 noon, ill go in and try to leave with that...

but maaan oh maaan! i loved that s2k, it was just so fun to be in...i really hope i get that red one tomorrow...thanks for reading!

Wow, I'm sure the guy that bought the S2k will probably never know someone ran his car pretty hard... I wonder if he/she made a note of the mileage and will notice a discrepancy when they pick it up.

I can't believe you stood around waiting for a salesman at the dealership. If I walk into a dealership with the intent to buy and I don't have help in less than 5 minutes I walk out!

Word..that's what really annoys me when you gotta look for salesman. I usually look online first for the car I want so I don't have to deal too much with them. Good luck with the buy Skillmatic

Yeah, that happened to me with a CPO TSX I went to test drive. I took it out, loved it, went back in and sat down the the sales dude to negotiate. He looked it up on his computer, then said, "Hmmm, let me go check something." He came back and said the car was sold that morning.
