dang, with the volks and hardtop!? I would want one w/ a little less mileage however. There's a 2004 stock w/ 15k miles for $23000 private classified which would be a sweet deal if timing were better. I think I'd only get a 2004+ because I love the 17" wheels, face refresh and I hear the gearing is much better.

yup, also had oem front lip, oem rear spoiler, injen cai, clear corners/headlights...he was selling it for 16k without the volks and hardtop. still a decent deal with 48k miles

23k for '04 w/15k miles is pretty good. i've seen '02/'03s listed on s2ki.com for $23k+ too bad you fiance is still in school. the only good thing is by the time she graduates the '04s should've depreciated some more

that's what I'm hoping. I looked at some used RX8's, but there aren't a whole lot, and their prices aren't great. Its hard to find the exact specs we want because there's sooo many options for it. I like the Acura/Honda strategy of all inclusive, I know any S2000 will have HIDs etc etc., no options to add.

S2000, no kids, and if you do need to lug other people around you have your TSX to do that. RX-8, I am pretty sure Mazdas are more reliable than I think they are, but do you really want to consider buying anything that FORD has touched?

It seems like you aren't condidering any domestics but the best deal out right now is an 04 GTO. 350hp for about $26k with all the incentives. Can't be beat!!

He might as well get a domestic if he's considering the RX8.
