Are you looking for all-season tires or just summer tires?

i hd the falken ziex in 235/45/17 and they were good for the price. The wet handling was good and the tires were very sticky. Only problem was that the tread was low at 25k miles, so the would have lasted me about 28-30K miles.

i have the hankook ventus hr2, not bad in dry conditions, spin all the time in wet conditions. Haven't driven them in the snow and dont plan to, as i have winter tires for that.

Avon has a decent "tyre". I have them on my xBox and they are pretty darn good. The one's I have are the M550 A/S, 215/45/17

Same here....although the new wheel package on my Maxima is wrapped in Sumitomos. The 512s on my stock wheels served me VERY well.

these tires perform great IMO, but their durability sucks... aside from that they are summer-only tires and are not suitable for driving if it snows

Falken Ziex sidewalls are weak and suck under hard cornering.

I disagree about the snow statement though. I had them on the CL-S when I first got it and they did great. My summer rated General Exclaim UHP's were even better though. I loved those tires.

Falken 452's get great reviews, but I haven't tried them myself. I'm not a huge fan of all-seasons in general; I think you're better off with "ok" summers and "ok" winters than expensive all-seasons (generally). If it were me I'd get the Icebear W300's for winter (have them, *love* them), and falken 452's for summer. Yes, I know you're broke... just think it's one of those things that's worth it.

I'm actually considering 452's or Yoko Advans as an alternative to PS2's on my car. We'll see.
