Worst Manual Driver Ever?

Tell me about the worst MT driver you've ever seen.

This weekend I drove with someone that just got a new Mazda 6. He said he'd driven a MT before and preferred it, but after watching him drive, I wonder...

He was alright out of first gear, but 2 - 5, he would hold the clutch in while he sped the car up for a not-insignificant amount of time. I would say he left the clutch at least partially in WHILE he was accelerating for 3 - 4 seconds before he finally took his foot completely off. Amazing. The car had < 2k miles on it, and he'll be lucky if that clutch lasts to 40k miles. Sad.

So who was the worst MT driver you've ever seen?

Me At least until I get used to it...

I learned out to drive stick in a 944 which required an abnormally (so Ive noticed) high rpm for launching out of 1st. Like... 2500-2800.

So every car since then I usually either peel out or over-rev it the first couple times until I figure it out. Im all good after that

When he turned 16, a buddy of mine received a Ford Bronco II from his parents for his first car. He had practiced stick a little bit in his driveway and I guess he felt ok with it, so he decided to take it out on the main roads. Keep in mind, this is his birthday, the first day he had this vehicle.

At the end of the driveway he puts it in first and starts to make a right. He guns it and drops the clutch, fishtails, jumps the curb, and sends the car head on into a ditch and a tree in the woods. The car was totalled, with no collision insurance.

Second worst is my friend who has been driving a g35 for two years and still stalls at intersections, and lugs in first every time he doesn't stall. He doesn't know how to downshift, and there is 3-4 seconds between gears when he upshifts.

A friend's friend from Italy came into Dallas while I was there. I just so happend to buy a CRX Si (now with a blown motor ) there, and he felt like driving it. Well, I figured a guy who drove a Fiat Panda daily wouldnt be too bad. I have NEVER seen such bogging and wrong-gearing in my life

Not being able to shift in a POS is acceptable, but having trouble launching from a stop in a G35 is embarrassment city.
