Wing or No Wing, that's the question
I'm 80% towards no wing. I have had a wing delete plug kit for a few months now and finally got around to taking the wing off. Before I file down the holes I wanted to be sure so I haven't put the plugs in yet.
What do you guys think?
BTW, GO UAW!!!!! They had one job on this car and that was to put the wing on after it landed in the US. As you can see, they are good at what they do, totally overtightened each bolt
Luckily the plug will cover "most" of it

Paint the GTO letters in bodycolor.

yea, they make a lip spoiler and a rear window spoiler, both are about $500 though

and I'd still have to cover up the holes as this doesn't reach them. I kind of like the roof spoiler though
Side profile of the lip spoiler
GTO body color = rice IMO Atleast that's better then the guys who do the GTO in chrome :barf: I'm thinking about painting that lower piece black

I'm going to have to agree with the king of fashion and high style and say wing.
the car doesn't have too many bodywork details as it is. taking away the wing looks better on most vehicles IMO but maybe not this one. it's almost too 'clean' without it.
either way it won't look bad though.

Like I said normally I vote "no wing" but on this car I think the wing not only sets it off nicely, but flows with the lines of the car. it's rare I think a wing is well done, but I really do like this one. Either way, I'm one of those guys that thinks the new GTO looks killer so

No, i'm completely tossed, at times I love no wing, at times I think the wing fits the car just perfectly. Now that it's finally off, the last 24 hours i've thought no wing. The more I look at the pics the more I get closer to a coin toss. I'm gonna leave it off for sometime, see how I like it. Maybe switch every month

It's funny, because I'm friends with the paint shop he does a lot of his cars and the overhaulin cars at. And when I first took it by he was like, it'd look real good if you did the bottom half a black, or the top half

Well, it also bumps the drag coefficient from .31 up to .34 when in combination w/ the front hood scoops.
Almost any wing will create downforce
