I'd rock the S6 Avant but this car looks like it was impeccably maintained and it has all the features I'd want. Maybe sell my Wrangler/CL-S and just get one practical vehicle instead. I'm just throwin' this out there as a feeler on the wagon thing. I'm always hauling ski equipment, golf clubs, my large dog, court exhibits, multiple brief cases, etc. In fact it'd be haulin' everything BUT kids (as everyone would presume it was probably used for). I like the wagon, who knows, maybe I'll pull the trigger.

I'm not a fan of the looks... but I'm sure it is a great car. While it is perhaps a step down in the luxury factor, I'd personally prefer an Audi Avant or a Volvo Cross Country.

Audi Allroad or Volvo Xcountry and still do some light/medium offroading.
Audi Avant wagons are tits. The new A6 avant is stellar, though I know you dont want new cars.

Get it without a doubt. But, MB's are heavy. Thats my only problem with it. For the dog reference, my mom swapped back and forth between a C and an E when she was looking. She liked how nimble the C compared to the E-she ultimately went with the C and is kicking herself because the Dalmation barely fits in the cargo area. She has a c320 4 matic and its a beast in the snow and quite quick on the highway. I love it-wagons are so functional. Ive been hunting autotrader and ebay for an s4 wagon with low miles-my mom converted me

I figure a V8 w/ 302 horsepower is enough for what I'll be using it for. If I wanna blast around town/country, I'll get out my Roadster. I have no doubts this car is quick enough for me.

I never noticed that. I just thought all along it was an 04. Methinks someone screwed up.

Careful with that car...resale value is HORRIBLE....and for the record, wholesale value:

Because of the poor selling performance of these cars, it's probably worth about that much retail, and wholesale a little less.

Yeah, I think this price is high which is why I'm waiting for it to not be sold, then re-listed. I KBB'd it and came up w/ 38,500 (dealer price) which I still think is too high. I'd offer 35K, if they bite they bite. Still up for debate though as I'm building a barn to store my cars, mower, crap, A/V room, exercise room. Like this http://www.jedbuildings.com/images/g.../gallery7.html but w/ two overhead electric doors and a pass-door in the front of the shed and not 40' deep but 36.

Well, the bidding ended, the car got re-listed, I waffled a bit and now . . . . it's gone. Oh well, there'll be others. This one did have all the equipment I wanted though.
