You'll need adapters:

Sell them on eBay and buy something that was made specifically for the E93. Adapters are for "Off road use only" for a reason.

and what would you consider off road use? In what situations would you use them then?

Spacers/adapters are perfectly safe, I drove on them for 3 years and haven't had a single problem. I would use those BBS wheels with some thick adapters to match the proper offset for E93 and be done with it.

In reality there are several issues with spacers. Universal wheel spacers are the ones that need to be avoided because they will cause the problems.

Wheel spacers that are made for a specific vehicle is a different story because they have a unique bolt pattern for each specific vehicle. The safest wheel spacers are the wheel and hubcentric wheel spacers because they are centered on the hub and fit snug on the brake rotor making the two a one complete piece that doesn’t have play.

Wheel spacers are safe if you buy hubcentric spacers that are made of 6061 T-6 billet aluminum. But I wouldn't run them on my ride.

EDiT: didn't Ricky Bobby use spacers on his Nascar ride?
