Why I never would take my car to a dealership for aftermarket stuff

A guy I know from around here has a pretty nice Mazda Protoge and recently bought a limited run carbon fiber hood for it and took the car to our local Mazda dealership to get part of the hood and his new grille painted to the way he liked it.

He went in and HANDED them this photo he printed off to show them how he would like it painted:

Yesterday he goes to pick up the car, and this is what they give him:

At least they matched the color.

Umm, the guy must be a retard not to want to know the EXACT color that he is asking for... for a custom job like that, you'd better either REALLY trust the paint shop to do it exactly as the picture looks, or, do the legwork yourself and tell them "this area here I want in $$### color, and everything else in $$### color".

The whole car didn't get painted, just the hood.

If there were black strips over the roof & trunk it wouldn't look too bad.

I hope they are going to fix it.

Shitty thing is, its one of 10 carbon hoods ever made for the MSP.

9 are on cars, one is left, so hopefully the dealership will buy and fix for him.

Wow thats amazing but it still doesnt look like the one in the picture first posted. he still needs to get a yellow candy color over the carbon fiber so it has yellow tint to it.

The first picture is a photoshop.

The color is the actual Mazdaspeed Yellow.
