Why can't somebody be origional... 2007 Audi TT

Nissan 350z not sure the year..04-06

2007 Audi TT

There was a good style to the TT origionally, it was a little girly, but they could have worked off that style and made it have it's own look.. Like the origional TT.

AM I alone with this thinking?

but thats the new redesigned TT that the original poster posted. and from the looks of it, it looks like the design was right off of the current 350Z.

I feel like an idiot.. i guess the Audi keeps simiilar lines as it's predessor.. I just remember the audi being more bubble like in the cabin area.. Wheni saw the new one all I thought was...gee another 350z replica.. it seems all the companies are coping the same design for their V6 sports coupes..

Here's Mitsu following suit...

when the 350z came out i thought that it stole some design ideas from the TT. hence i dont really think that audi went out of their way to steal design ideas from the 350z... i think that they just improved upon the existing TT body.

I think its a tough call untill the car is out. 350z is SOOOO damn stylish/powerful, its a toughie to beat it. The TT's resale will most likely drop like a rock like the current model.

To be completely honest, I could see myself owning a 350 before the (most likely) double the cost TT.

but the mitsu was aiming towards its own history. trying to bring back theyre only car that actually sold in the 90's.. so they went back to theyre original design from that time for their new eclipse, since the previous gen didnt sell as well as they expected it to. actually, it flopped.

I really don't see the resemblance. All coupes have the same general profile, just as all sedans and all minivans, etc.

If you want to talk about having the bubble in the cabin, look at Porsches.

That TT was VERY girly, just like the Lexus SC430...

Only women should drive these cars. And yet I always see a fella in it.

I was thinking more like this, but yeah, there are just so many ways to design a fastback coupe...

I don't think the TT really lacks originality as much as it just lacks an overall exciting design.
