My friend told me about a japanese site for parts and wheels called upgarage.com. and i went there and found some awesome wheels, and was wondering how i would get the here to the US, since I can't translate japanese and google will probably misconstrue some words.

i have never ordered from their site. i bought a bunch of stuff from them a few years ago when i was in japan and had it shipped back in a container. good stuff.
most of the stuff seems like they just go to junkyards and pull the stuff off of cars.

 

Man, I got to go to Japan.

 

i'm not sure if they still do it, but turbo magazine used to sponsor trips to Tokyo Auto Salon every year. it used to cost $1600 for everything, (round trip ticket, hotel, tickets to the show, and transportation to the show) but food and spending money. not sure what it cost now or if they even still do it. it was def. worth it back a few years ago.

it was also the first and only time that i have ever spent $150 on a hamburger, fries, and 2 beers.

 

I found a guy that gets parts from upgarage on zilvia.net so i'm getting some JDM goodness in a month or so.
