I think Infiniti has come a long way and now has a formidable lineup to take on both Lexus and Acura
SC430 > G35 coupe > RSX type S/RSX
TL > G35 sedan > TSX > IS300
M45/35 > GS430/300 > RL
FX45/35 > RX330 > RDX
GX470 > QX56 > MDX
GT-R > NSX > Lexus nothing
SC430 > G35 coupe > RSX type S/RSX
TL > G35 sedan > TSX > IS300
M45/35 > GS430/300 > RL
FX45/35 > RX330 > RDX
GX470 > QX56 > MDX
GT-R > NSX > Lexus nothing

kind of hard to compare, the lexus models are priced too high for the Acuras to compare. Whole different class. But i agree, infiniti has come a long way.

I would say Infiniti, they've come a long way, I still favor other interiors over their's, but they have made a huge leap forward. Not to mention their vehicles are so fun to drive.

Infinity by far, to answer the question. FX, G, M...all great cars.

I'm sorry, are you utterly DAFT!? You're honestly not comparing a 60k hardtop vert with a V8 to a 35k V6 coupe and a 23k 4banger?

With the luxury brands coming down market in a few more years (or less) Acura is in a great position with the RSX IMO. Maybe they change it so that it doesn't fit that boy racer image anymore and instead position it to go head to head with the 1 series, A3 etc...

For me it's kind of hard to pick just one of them as having the best car line up, because I like some cars from each of those brands and some I don’t. But If I had to pick one for me it would be Infiniti, because I mainly like RWD performance luxury cars, that doesn’t feel totally isolated from the road like most of Lexus’ lineup, 2nd would be Acura because I like their style, value, and performance.

The RL is not in the same class as the M45 and GS. The RL is meant to compete with the LS and Q45.
Also, in my opinion you are wrong about the FX being better than the Lexus RX330. The RX330 is by far one of the best cars for the money on the luxury market and it is one of Lexuses best selling vehicles today.

Burn some dust here
Infinti has a great lineup, but the interiors are pathetic ( )
Acura has always lacked "soul" to me (getting much better lately though) and lacks a willingness to offer pure excitement.
Lexus is the most rounded of the 3.
So I'll go with Lexus > Acura > Infiniti

So what if it's Acura's current flagship. Size wise, price wise, and according to Acura, it's meant to compete against the midsize lux category.

As long as we're talking about "the perfect automobile," get this:
new AMG Engine, ///M suspension, Honda or Porsche 6MT (or BMW 7SMG), Zonda exterior, Aston Martin interior, Lexus reliability, with the whole thing weighing less than the Lotus Elise.
As for this thread, I stopped reading at:

Lexus is too expensive for most, they dont offer anything other than the IS for the Entry level buyer. Acura doesnt have enough variety. The RSX while hot, needs to be a honda and acura should have a more upscale luxo/sporty coupe to compete with infiniti and bmw. Infiniti has something for everyone. They have entry level luxo cars, sporty coupe, full luxo, entry level and full luxo suvs, and soon they will have a flagship sports car.

BMW and Mercedes doesnt have another "low end" car company where they can sell these cars, like Honda, so they have no choice. And besides, those names carry weight throughout the world. Acura doesnt so it really need to work hard to maintain its luxury image. I dont think having the RSX helps. Its belongs in Honda . I'd rather see the s2000 as an acura.

Before coming to the US I saw Honda Legends as the top of the line upscale car.
I already built the "Brand Image" inside my mind as Honda, so I guess it depends on which region you are.

Lineupwise, Lexus probably covers the most bases and will be adding the 'LF-A' as their flagship performance car in the near future which will compete with the GT-R and HSC.
But the Infiniti line attracts me more than the other 2. Acura need to get a V8 into the RL and put the current RL motor into the TL. Introducing SH and the J32A to a higher level (A-Spec) TSX couldnt hurt.
