Nooo. Dude, you have my top 2 fav. possible future cars right now. Wow, I would give anything for an R if the insurance wasn't so high. However, I love your SC and that will be my next ride. Is it 5-speed? What turbo you planning on doing? NA-T, 1JZ-GTE, or 2JZ-GTE?

Some cars from my past... I had others, but not really worth posting pics of, they were stock (03 IS300, 03 FX35)
'99 TL

'99 Miata (I miss it soo much)

Current cars, '05 G35x, it's stock, nothing worth posting, and my yellow box..

...and my beloved '66 Mustang that's still waiting for my ass to finish it and drive it...

One reason why I still have the R is that it still, even though is underpowered, my favorite car in the stable and after driving alot of higher powered cars like the STi and the EVO, I still won't trade it in for those. Nothing so far has come close! Its the negative attention and the paranoia that makes me want to sell it. The SC is automatic and I'm gonna get some stronger slugs and rods and turbo the automatic; so basically NA-T. It just so happens that my model year SC has the same transmission as the TT Supra, but with a different shift program; so all you bitches better watch out. I am however looking for another SC with a 5-speed; almost IMPOSSIBLE and gonna go all out with the 2JZ-GTE swap and 6-speed. If that doesn't work out, I'll probably trade the R in for a CL-S!!!

Yeah, the R attracts soo much negative attention..I would be paranoid parking it anywhere, even in my own driveway. There are 5-speed SCs out there, just gotta look. I think there are about half a dozen in the NJ/PA/NY area but I can't buy one now. In fact, a guy in PA is selling his '98 with 100k on the odometer AND 5-speed for like $7500, which is a steal. It needs a radio, climate control, and back window due to a theft. However, he has all the parts..they just need to be installed. Also, the trunk is a little screwy, but for that cheap, I should pounce on it. 2JZ-GTE 6-speed will be a beast. I think over at ClubLexus a guy has a GTE pushing over 600WHP. Hell, you can get over 400WHP on an N/A setup if done correctly. Good luck with your SC and drive that R the way it was meant to be driven!

I was thinking about doing springs, shocks, leafs in the back and adjustable sway bars just to tighten everything up and drop it about 2 inches...

sorry, off topic

i love that cobra, ive actually been thinking hard about going fored induction with the 383 stroker. I would go low compression and drop an ati intercooled blower with a smaller pulley. MMMMM Boost.

But the LS motors respond so well to heads and cam work. I got walked by a TA with some wierd turbo where the actual turbo is by the muffler!!!!

yeah that Turbo is the STS Remote mount Turbo. I can walk on one with my heads and cam setup. With the 383 stroker, heads and cam, with the upgraded valve train, i should be putting down around 600 whp +/- a few. My friend has an all motor setup with the 383 and a mild cam, with ported Stock LS1 heads. He is making 609 whp. and 823 horses with the 200 shot.
It's sick, i can pull both front wheels off the ground. I am not alowed on the track unless i get a roll cage. I was kicked out when i made the 11.1 sec pass.

Also if i went with the 383, heads, cam and a blower, i would be making close to the nitrous setup, without the nitrous.

NOS is to scary...I'd do the low compression, high boost. I love when my supercharger kicks in....and it will better with a ported blower...a 2.93 pulley and a nice tune! I should be at like 450-500hp next year if I don't decide to by a house and get out of my townhouse!
