That pic was on H&R sports, I've switched to KW V2's since then.

Do you mind if I ask how much you paid for it (before tax)? My brother is in the market for a 3 series and I want to set a price range for him.

God jesal that car is a thing of beauty. When I first saw those wheels I didn't think I liked them, but after seeing those last pictures wiith the car all cleaned up and in good light, they are sure growing on me. I vote to lower the front just a tad, and leave the back pretty much how it is.

It's like attack of the 335's around here, but I'm not complaining, they sure are nice to look at. And BTW, you must be loving all of this extra attention...lol

Oh yeah, one last thing...Those last pics show the real nice color contrast of the blue paint and brown leather with those windows open...so nice.

Better pictures definitely changed my opinions about your wheels. They look very good. The lip is very hot too.Now I'm considering one .I like the classy euro type of look you went for.

I have questions too...

Since you got rid of the RFTs, and there's no place for a spare, what do you do in case of a flat ?? Have a can of fix-a-flat in the trunk, and call AAA if that doesn't fix it ??

Well in the past... almost 90% of my flat tires have been when the car has been sitting overnight. In which case thats almost always at home and there would be a spare in the garage.

Plus runflats cost so much that even if it does have a hole, replacing it wouldnt make me happy. Also the ride is rougher and they get loud after only 10k miles.

Ahh... ok, I guess I'm just jaded by the CL OEM tires. I've had 2 of 'em blow out in the sidewall (one on a curb, one on a pothole), and both of 'em were when I was 30 miles from home...

I don't like RFTs so if I ever buy a BMW, I'd have to deal with replacing 'em and getting a spare... It really kinda sucks that they are using the rfts on everything except the M cars... They should learn from honda and that whole PAX fascio...

I guess if I were going on a long roadtrip, I could just throw a spare in the trunk, but then that would kill the cargo space

RFTs suck !!

fwiw - when I had my Supra - I drove it without a spare for the 6 years I had it w/o a flat or a blowout... no problems. I did carry a can of fix-o-flat w/ me and I did have AAA.. but I never had to use either. I think luck has something to do with it, along with a degree of "hazard avoidance". I mean, you gotta be careful where you're driving. Sure that might be easier said than done sometimes. But still. It's a weird feeling at first (driving without a spare) but you get used to it. (I didn't have a spare because I replaced that area with a sub box).

Unless you live in Kansastucky - there is little need for a spare tire these days. I've experienced two flat tires in my driving history and both times was within one mile of a gas station and just rolled in.

Otherwise, you just make a call from your mobile and wait for a tow. Who wants to change a flat tire on the side of the road with all the jackasses gawkers? Yer just asking for a unsolicited ass plow.

I also have TPMS so if the tires start to go low then i will know to check for leaks.

This paint seems to scratch easily too. Im not gonna enjoy this color....
