Well by my house theres a road thats under construction and its quicker to go through it to get to the street i needed to go. So i go on it to then realizing that they torn it up and its all gravel (im on the gravel at this point) so i try to turn around on someones driveway. Well since the road was lower than the driveway, i nailed the curb with the front lip.

Luckily i wasnt going too fast to make any major damage. Just paint but still sucks.

Damn that sucks I would be pissed off. However, it is fixable and nobody got hurt and hopefully it wont set you back too much.

DAMN! It could have been MUCH worse.. In another incident of self-ownage, I curbed one of my wheels by not paying attention. Luckily, I have a multipiece wheel and it's a $75 fix.

Does your lip come off of the wheel? Or how is it multi piece?

^ 3 piece wheel. Bolts above removed which frees up the lip for refinishing.

Ah... the first scratches on a new car are always the toughest ones...

Like you said, thankfully it's only paint.

Looking at that lip made me wanna . Oh well, at least it can be fixed.
Lesson learned I hope...

Oh and I saw a silver 335 with those M wheels the other day. Definately caught my attention. They look better on darker colors though as shown above.

Thats my only issue with the M6 wheels, they look great but everyone seems to have them already.

It's true that a lot of people seem to have the m6 wheels already. But given that I live in Ottawa,I should be first on the list. How much am I looking for the wheels+the body.(I decided to take the same route as lord vader)although I said I wouldn't mod my car.

Yeah, I can see not everyone liking them.....but I've always liked the Cayenne Sport Techno wheel and these remind me of them.

Other than that, I don't think there are really any feature changes. Probably just the usual running changes that you won't know about.

Parked ventilation.... i just ran across this in my car. Had no idea what it did.

It was about 80F yesterday. I have a jet black car with black interior and I expected that the car would be a little stuffy when I planned to leave work. I knew I would be leaving a little after 6:00 p.m., so I set the parked car automatic ventilation feature to turn on at 6:00. When I got to the car at 6:20, the fan was blowing and the car seemed very fresh, no stuffiness whatsoever.

Not sure if non-iDrive cars have this feature, but my understanding is that you have to set it whenever you want to use it. But the feature is very nice if you know it is going to be a hot day and you know when you are going to need to be in your car. Especially if you have a black car or black interior, huge huge feature!
I totally need to try this!! I always run into some cool feature (no pun) everyday... sheesh!

Doesn't the E Class with the panoramic roof do that. I think they have solar cells in the panoramic roof which power the small fans for ventilation on those hot days. It has a rain sensor to then disable it on a rainy day...

I wonder if yours works the same way or if it relies on the car battery... No idea where they would hide the solar cells on the 335 though...
