I just can't wait for the new tl-s to be released, I was going to get a 2001 cl-s, but since I heard of the new TL-S, i decided to wait. Anyone know when the TL-S will hit showrooms????

I am getting really excited over this that I am going to make a stop at the santa monica dealership tomorrow or at least I am going to give them a call. the acura.com website hasn't said anything regarding the release. they make it look like its not out yet. also,isnt it a bit early for the release of a 2002 model??

I typed this same reply in the other TL-S topic, but here it is again .....

The official release date for the 2002 TL / TL-S is March 15th (tomorrow). The cars have been at the dealers for days, but they cannot sell them until the end of this week. If you're really interested in the TL, you should check out www.acura-tl.com . They have a Type-S section where this question, and a lot of others you may have were probably answered already....

I called Pohanka Acura just right now and the stupid sales person said the TL Type S will come out in June. I was like really? and then told them I saw pics of the TL Type S at dealers (yahoo and the other one) and he was like Nahh, they gonna release it in June, and then he asked me where I saw it and I gave him the URL. I even told him the sticker price and he freaked out and asked how I knew all this info. I asked him why acura is releasing all this press info about the TL type S on tv, magazines.. and he just was clueless. I'm going to call again later and ask another sales guy this guy was totally clueless.

The new TL Type-S is in STOCK at Ann Arbor Acura (in Michigan). I was there today at 8am and the Svc Mgr said they had them in hand.

I have my digi cam with me...I'll see if I can get some picts when I return to pickup my coupe this afternoon.

Just called vandergriff Acura in Arlington, TX. They have two, one white, one black. Both have the parchment interior. The sales guy said they didn't have stickers on them yet and that they can't be sold until the official release date, which is likely to be 15 March. He thinks they will be going for around $31,200 (with Nav) MSRP.
