wheel weights falling off?

I recently had a set of wheels mounted/balanced and it looks like some of the weights on the inside of the wheel have fallen off byt the looks of the residue left from the cement or whatever was used to attach them.

Is this bad?

Do you have any vibration? All balancing really does in make up for imperfections during manufacturing that make a wheel out of balance. We're talking fractions of ounces...

It could be residue from the old wheel weight adheasive, when they are removed it will look like new and stand out from the rest of the dirty wheel.

It is also possible they fell off, though its not common for a new stick on style wheel weight to fall off and leave adheasive, usually they fall off from not having the area cleaned properly, leaving no evidence of a wheel weight ever being there.

If there is no vibration its probably just old wheel weight adheasive.

Wheels were brand new, never been mounted / balanced before.

I am going on a trip this weekend, I guess if there is much vibration or not.

Thanks to everyone for the input!
