Wheel repair, need help
So the other day, I came back from a 7 day trip to NY and found my rear left tire to be nearly flat. So I took it to America's Tire Co. (where I bought my tires) to have it checked out, and they ended up putting the donut on my car and told me that the wheel was cracked, causing the tire to lose air. He showed me the crack, and I couldn't even tell it was a crack. It looked like somone drew a line on the wheel w/ a pen. It was hardly noticeable, and was maybe 2" long on the inside of the wheel. I have a few questions about this.
1) Is it safe to drive on that wheel temporarily for a week or so?
2) Is something like this fixable at a wheel repair shop, or are only bends and scuffs repairable? If so, how much would something like this cost?
3) Does anyone know of any good wheel repair shops around the San Fernando Valley???
Thanks!
`John

1. depends on how hard you drive
2. yes it can be fixed. cost is subjective to damage.
