I'm happy & no regrets. Only have about a year or less to pay off. I already paid down 3/4 of it.
while i am happy for you, i cannot believe that some axles, mounts and a header leak would set you back 2k... where was this quoted at?

Lots of interesting opinions and advice in here. I'm lucky to not have had to make this decision yet.

Whenever I feel like it's time for something new and if the payments stay the same, lower or slightly higher +50 I will go ahead with it.

I think another reason that I havent ditched the CL yet is there is nothing out there, within a reasonable price range, that interests me.

I enjoy having a newer car. The cost of repair was never really an issue because most of my cars had less then 130k on the clock.

The TL was the only exception. Timing belt, tires, suspension, vavle adjustment, rear quarter panel needed to be fixed...all that would have added up so I decided to buy a new car.

I've been switching cars once a year for the past 3-4 years. I just get an itch and get rid of them. I only buy used cars, under $15K. They are much easier to sell. I've had our 02 RL for 2 years now, which is the longest we've had a car in many years and mostly just due to the fact that the market is completely out of control and I can't find a car to replace it with that I think is priced fairly. Plus in the 2 years we've had it and 30K we put on it, I've put less than $1000 into it including tires. 157K on it now and drives just like it did when I bought it 2 years ago.

I am always looking, so when the right car pops up, the RL will be on Craigslist.
