I guess I'm more of a realist...so I'd say an S2000.
When I was younger, I always said I'd own an NSX someday. But now, after life and reality has set in, I really think an S2000 IS my dream car. I've driven a couple of nsx's and the S2k really feels like 90% the car that the nsx is. Maybe they're like night and day and I'm naive, but I couldn't really tell by driving them both on the street.
BTW, I'm currently searching for a low-mileage suzuka blue ap1 s2k, so maybe soon, my car dreams will come true.

Dreams can be unrealistic...so, it'd be an absolute tossup between the McLaren F1 or the Pagani Zonda R...
Both cars had me at hello.

Dream car in real life...as in, when I'm ready to retire or get promoted: Nissan GT-R, Audi R8, Aston Martin V8 Vantage...
Any of the three...

In addition to my current garage, I would want a Z06 to drive on Wednesdays and NSX to drive on Thursdays. Those are the days I drive the most for work. I already split time between my CTS-V and S2000 when the weather's good. Brute torque or high-revving finesse? I love that I can make that choice every morning.
I'd also have another 2G RL with Hakkas as my winter daily driver. Laugh if you want, but it's an RL owner thing....if you haven't owned one, you don't understand the appeal.

Living the Dream
BMW M3 (sedan or coupe...can't decide) or Porsche Cayman S
To add to this I've also seen a few classic cars listed and thought I'd add, what I hope to be a future project car.
1972-74 BMW 2002 tii or a "classic" Mini RHD

And my practical dream car is Audi R8, or maybe a 997/8 P-car.

Realistically, 911 Turbo is a natural step up from my C2S and more suitable as a daily driver than a GT3 IMO. I think the Turbo will be more fun to drive than an R8. Low mileage F430 would be another consideration but I don't know if I would rock it as a DD.

One on the right for me
My answer wouldn't change if I had to take a practical approach to this question - still an old 60's muscle car. That has consistently been what I want (not to be confused with my earlier post where I said it isn't consistent - that was referring to whatever exotics I find interesting).

B7's are the better ones IMO. High strung V8 for me please. The only plus to the B8's is the sport diff, but there are already aftermarket options ofr this on the B7. Plus they look way too much like a regular A4.

I had a B6 S4 and I did love that V8 but I would have no problem trading it for the B8 S4's 3.0T.

It would still be a 69 Camaro RS/SS.
There was a car in (I believe) the September 1995 HRM that I still remember to this day - blacked out, lowered, 2nd gen tall spoiler, 383, T-56, 3rd gen interior...thing fucking owned. It's almost impossible to find it online, shit didn't exist back then. It's probably long gone to the pages of history. I'll check with Ron to see if I can scan it and perhaps I'll post it here or in another thread if I get permission.
But I'd do an updated version. LS3. TR6060 6-speed. 4th gen T/A interior (complete, even including the dash)
